GivingPi partnered with AVPN to host an exclusive roundtable at the AVPN South Asia Summit in Chennai. The discussion explored diverse funding approaches, including traditional philanthropy, CSR innovations, and catalytic investments, while highlighting the critical role of collaboration in addressing cross-cutting challenges like gender equity and climate resilience. Case studies showcased innovative practices, and a moderated dialogue provided opportunities to identify shared priorities and actionable pathways for co-funding and collective impact. The roundtable not only deepened understanding of South Asia’s funding landscape but also strengthened connections among funders, setting the stage for future collaborations within the AVPN and GivingPi ecosystems.
GivingPi and Rebuild India Fund co-hosted an intimate gathering at GivingPi Member Swati Apte’s residence in Mumbai. The event brought together the city’s philanthropic community and a remarkable group of grassroots NGO leaders from some of India’s most underserved regions. These leaders, many of whom belong to the vulnerable communities they serve, shared their inspiring journeys and the challenges they face in addressing critical issues at the grassroots level. The event also marked the launch of a new Giving Circle to support 10 exceptional grassroots NGOs, aiming to bridge funding gaps and amplify their impact.
